Base Salary
$120k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop backend satellite operations software using Python and AWS services.
- Design, develop, analyze, integrate, and troubleshoot APIs.
- Integrate AWS services and optimize software for scalability, security, cost, performance, and reliability.
- Implement new features and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to generative AI integrations, DevSecOps, CI/CD tooling, and software architecture design and maintenance.
- Collaborate with frontend and backend engineers and product managers in an Agile Scrum environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in backend development, full-stack development, or a related role, with professional experience replaceable by demonstrated technical skills, drive, and product focus.
- Proficiency in Python, GraphQL, Docker, and Terraform or comparable Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting APIs for AI platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and AskSage.
- Strong knowledge of containerized applications and familiarity with Kubernetes cluster deployments.
- Experience with AWS services including Lambda, ECS, EKS, CloudWatch, S3, EFS/EBS, EC2, and RDS.
- Fluency with collaborative development using Git and platforms such as GitHub or GitLab.
- Strong technical analysis, troubleshooting, communication, independence, and software maintainability, quality, resilience, and performance skills.
- U.S. Person status and an active U.S. security clearance are required; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
