Base Salary
$196k - $294k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design systems and write code for Vercel’s Edge team.
- Scale and improve infrastructure availability and reliability.
- Create tooling and automation with backend engineers and product teams.
- Maintain capabilities for deploying, routing, and serving customer applications.
- Work with networking, TLS termination, routing, storage, caching, and other edge services.
- Debug systems in production and help protect the platform and customers from abuse.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Deep experience scaling high-performance systems in the cloud.
- Knowledge and experience with web servers and network protocols.
- Comfort with Golang.
- Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS and Google Cloud.
- Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Lua, React, and Next.js is nice to have.
