Responsibilities
- Follow ABB’s software development process and participate in requirements clarification, development, testing, and release.
- Develop and maintain software features and business logic using C# and Python.
- Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and defect fixing to ensure product quality.
- Collaborate with global development teams and frontend application teams on integration and end-to-end testing.
- Support customer pilot projects, collect feedback, and drive continuous product improvement.
- Contribute to AI-enabled and robotic application solutions for industrial automation.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automation, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in software development, robotics, AI, automation, or related technical fields.
- Basic understanding of industrial robotic applications such as painting, welding, grinding, machine tending, assembly, or material handling.
- Hands-on experience with one or more of LLMs, agentic AI, computer vision, machine learning, or embodied AI is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and learning abilities.
