Base Salary

$82k - $122k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Analyze requirements and technical design documents to define test scope, estimates, and coverage.
  • Create, update, and execute comprehensive automated, functional, security, and performance test cases.
  • Identify performance issues and defect root causes, record defects, and verify fixes.
  • Communicate test results, risks, and issues to stakeholders and project or team leads.
  • Collaborate with development teams on technical implementation and issue resolution.
  • Prepare QA exit reports, test design documents, and handoff materials for solutions management and production support.
  • Create tools and processes to optimize testing and reduce time to market.
  • Guide team members on the technical aspects of test execution and support Customer Acceptance Test Plans.
  • Provide production support and recommend process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise in automation testing, preferably with Selenium.
  • Strong experience in performance testing, preferably with JMeter.
  • Experience with requirements analysis and software development lifecycle practices.
  • Ability to program in at least one language such as C, C++, Java, JavaScript, or SQL.
  • Ability to write tools that optimize processes.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications and tools such as SQL and JIRA.
  • Exposure to EDI.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to guide others on technical testing matters.
