Base Salary
$250k - $380k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and own the architectural vision for the SiS platform.
- Drive the platform's evolution toward next-generation capabilities.
- Serve as the primary technical representative for SiS in architecture forums.
- Establish engineering standards for performance, reliability, and scale.
- Lead technical design and review processes for cross-functional initiatives.
- Contribute hands-on by authoring specs, implementing changes, and reviewing PRs.
- Mentor and grow senior engineers on the team.
- Partner with Product and Design to drive the roadmap based on customer needs.
- Advocate for SiS developers and end users.
Requirements
- 15+ years of software engineering experience with a track record in architecting production-grade platforms.
- Strong expertise in Python application runtimes and distributed execution environments.
- Understanding of container-based execution environments and their tradeoffs.
- Experience designing developer-facing SDKs and embedding APIs.
- Ability to lead technical programs across multiple teams.
- Experience with enterprise SaaS reliability requirements.
- Familiarity with the open-source Streamlit framework is a plus.
- Experience with IdP integrations and authentication systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with web platform technologies is a nice to have.
