Responsibilities
- Design and implement software solutions across major portions of team systems while balancing feature development, refactoring, and operational improvements.
- Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional partners to translate business, product, and technical needs into solutions.
- Mentor and coach engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and hands-on guidance.
- Identify root causes of operational issues and drive permanent fixes to improve operational excellence and reduce recurring support costs.
- Evaluate tools and approaches, including generative AI capabilities, to improve development workflows, productivity, and code quality.
Requirements
- 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- 2+ years of full-stack development experience.
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# using object-oriented design.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
