Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy components for a governed safety data-serving platform.
- Build backend services and APIs for authoring, validating, versioning, and distributing safety business rules.
- Develop frontend components for a consolidated safety dashboard.
- Implement compound safety signals that combine multiple data sources into actionable indicators.
- Write maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews and design discussions.
- Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to integrate data pipelines and model outputs into production services.
- Develop automated evidence-preservation mechanisms for short video-retention windows.
- Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call rotations.
- Work with product managers and stakeholders across investigations, claims, insurance, and accountability to deliver solutions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
