Responsibilities
- Design, build, configure, and enhance applications aligned with business processes and application requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze application requirements.
- Administer MySQL databases, including design, implementation, maintenance, security, backup, and recovery.
- Perform database performance tuning and query optimization for large datasets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues to maintain optimal performance.
- Document application configurations and changes for knowledge sharing and continuity.
- Participate in team discussions, provide solutions to work-related problems, and support junior team members.
- Work independently and develop subject-matter expertise.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in MySQL Database Administration.
- Proficiency in MySQL Database Administration.
- Strong knowledge of relational database design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Experience with performance tuning and query optimization for large datasets.
- Ability to manage database security, backup, and recovery processes.
- Familiarity with database monitoring tools and automation scripts.
- Understanding of data integrity and consistency principles within relational databases.
- 15 years of full-time education.
