Responsibilities
- Develop and engineer end-to-end system features from user experience through backend code.
- Design and implement event-driven systems and real-time data streaming solutions using Apache Kafka.
- Integrate Apache Kafka with backend services and microservices.
- Troubleshoot and optimize Kafka clusters for performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with multiple teams and contribute to key technical and team decisions.
- Act as a subject matter expert, facilitate knowledge sharing, and mentor team members.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts and improve development processes, productivity, and product quality.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience.
- At least 5 years of experience with Apache Kafka.
- Proficiency in Apache Kafka, event-driven architecture, real-time data streaming, distributed systems, and message brokering.
- Familiarity with backend development frameworks and integrating Apache Kafka with microservices.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization technologies for scalable deployments.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
