Responsibilities
- Design and build production services with Python and front-end features using Angular or a comparable JavaScript framework.
- Build and integrate platform capabilities using AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, EKS, and related cloud services.
- Develop AI governance features supporting explainability, observability, and guardrail or prevention controls.
- Integrate AI model capabilities using Anthropic Claude API, Model Context Protocol, and agentic frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph.
- Evaluate technical options, document trade-offs, and recommend implementation approaches.
- Review code and technical designs, share knowledge, estimate effort, and identify scope, dependency, and delivery considerations.
- Communicate technical trade-offs and collaborate with engineering leads, product partners, and Scrum teams.
Requirements
- Experience delivering production software in an engineering environment.
- Experience using an AI-assisted coding tool such as Claude Code, AWS Kiro, OpenAI Codex, or a comparable tool.
- Proficiency with Python and full-stack development using Angular or a comparable JavaScript framework.
- Working knowledge of AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, EKS, or comparable AWS services.
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or a comparable agentic framework.
- Experience designing solutions from problem statements and documenting implementation considerations.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, including evaluating outputs, recognizing limitations, and identifying appropriate AI applications.
- Preferred experience with Anthropic Claude API, Model Context Protocol, explainability, observability, guardrails, or prevention controls.
- Experience communicating technical trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders is preferred.
