Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand customer problems, technical constraints, and business priorities.
- Break down ambiguous requirements into well-scoped work, clarify open questions, and surface risks early.
- Design, implement, test, and deploy features end-to-end using clean and maintainable code.
- Investigate and resolve bugs through root-cause analysis, thoughtful fixes, and automated validation.
- Participate in design and code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Use AI-assisted coding tools and modern technologies while validating outputs for security, reliability, and quality.
Requirements
- 1–4 years of relevant professional software engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s, master’s, and/or Ph.D. in computer science or a related field.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, and/or C#.
- Some experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MSSQL.
- Ability to work through ambiguity, collaborate, learn, teach, and prioritize customer value.
- Preferred experience in healthcare or with healthcare standards such as HL7.
- Preferred experience developing software with AI agents such as Claude Code or Cursor.
- Preferred experience with Docker, including image creation, orchestration, and production deployment.
- Preferred experience building and maintaining data pipelines and modeling production datasets in Snowflake.
