Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable backend services and APIs that enable the creation, integration, and operation of AI agents.
- Build conversational agents, define their workflows, and connect the tools, APIs, and systems required for each business solution.
- Integrate voice conversational agents with specialized platforms and optimize sessions, events, latency, turn-taking, interruptions, and error alternatives.
- Develop continuous evaluation and observability pipelines using production conversations and traces to improve agents, prompts, tools, and models.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python or Go, backend development, REST API design, software engineering practices, and relational databases such as MySQL or similar.
- Experience with distributed systems and asynchronous processing, including queues, retries, and idempotency.
- Familiarity with large language models and their APIs.
- Curiosity, autonomy in investigating and solving problems, and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Experience building and integrating agents, conversational flows, ElevenLabs, real-time audio technologies, and conversation evaluation is desirable.
