Responsibilities
- Assist with developing and maintaining full-stack applications using Vue.js, Node.js, or similar JavaScript frameworks.
- Support the design and implementation of database solutions using PostgreSQL and KQL.
- Assist with integrating and managing data APIs with a focus on user security.
- Implement assigned features and fixes across front-end and back-end environments.
- Create and perform integration testing, troubleshoot software issues, and identify root causes.
- Document code, features, and test results.
- Participate in Agile development processes and collaborate with software and engineering teams on integration, testing, and delivery.
- Travel as needed by plane, automobile, or other transportation.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- No prior work experience is required; relevant software development knowledge must be demonstrated through coursework, school projects, and/or personal projects.
- Understanding of fundamental software engineering principles.
- Coursework or project exposure to JavaScript, web application development, relational databases, SQL, API design, and API integration.
- Experience with Vue.js, Node.js, Express.js, PostgreSQL, Azure Cloud tools, Azure IoT, or Azure Data Explorer is preferred as applicable.
- Ability to troubleshoot software issues and identify root causes.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, collaboration, adaptability, communication, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to understand and follow complex verbal and written instructions.
