Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical design and implementation of enterprise Adobe Commerce solutions for B2B and B2C platforms.
  • Develop and customize Adobe Commerce modules, extensions, and integrations.
  • Translate functional and technical requirements into scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • Design integrations with ERP, CRM, PIM, OMS, payment gateways, tax, shipping, and third-party applications using REST and GraphQL APIs.
  • Drive technical design, code reviews, engineering standards, and best practices.
  • Optimize application architecture, database queries, Redis, Varnish, CDN performance, and Adobe Commerce core performance.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues and performance bottlenecks.
  • Support CI/CD implementation, cloud deployments, and DevOps practices.
  • Implement security hardening, Content Security Policies, secure payment gateways, and platform patches for PCI-DSS compliance.
  • Lead vulnerability assessments and audit-readiness activities.
  • Mentor developers, conduct knowledge-sharing sessions, and provide technical guidance.
  • Participate in sprint planning, estimation, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
  • Provide technical estimates, solution inputs, and feasibility assessments for pre-sales activities.

Requirements

  • 8–10 years of software development experience, including 4+ years of hands-on Adobe Commerce development.
  • Strong expertise in PHP, the Magento framework, module development, extension customization, dependency injection, plugins, observers, and Adobe Commerce best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Commerce REST and GraphQL APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Strong understanding of Catalog, Checkout, Pricing, Promotions, Payments, Orders, Inventory, and Customer Management domains.
  • Experience with headless or composable commerce using PWA Studio, Alokai/Vue Storefront, React, or Next.js.
  • Knowledge of Redis, Varnish, Fastly/CDN, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS or Azure.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, monitoring, logging, and incident management tools.
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, performance optimization, communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.
  • Bachelor-level B.E. or B.Tech. qualification.
  • Adobe Commerce or Magento certifications are preferred.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud products including AEM, Adobe Analytics, or Adobe Target is preferred.
  • Exposure to microservices, API-first, event-driven architectures, Agile/Scrum, consulting, or enterprise digital commerce implementations is preferred.
