Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automation solutions for LAN and Wi-Fi network infrastructure.
- Design, implement, and optimize scripts and software to automate network operations and reduce manual work.
- Test and validate automation code and scripts, including work delivered by other squad members.
- Perform code reviews and enforce coding standards.
- Execute incident resolution, implement changes, and drive continuous improvements for LAN and Wi-Fi services.
- Create and maintain documentation for automation workflows, standards, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot automation and network issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to squad members.
- Participate in rotational standby/on-call duties to support incidents and service continuity.
Requirements
- More than 6–7 years of experience in automation and experience programming and scripting in an enterprise environment.
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments, including CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, Python, Git, CI/CD, and Terraform.
- Proven experience implementing, configuring, and modifying network infrastructure.
- Experience with network monitoring tools; familiarity with open-source solutions is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and independent-working skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related discipline.
- Certifications or proven proficiency in networking and security.
- Certifications or proven proficiency in one or more programming or scripting languages.
- Excellent spoken and written English at C1 level.
- Familiarity with Scrum practices and willingness to coach and support others are preferred.
