Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable, maintainable, and performance-optimized software solutions.
- Build and integrate user interfaces, backend services, REST APIs, and microservices using the required technology stack.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, business analysts, and business stakeholders to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Participate in code reviews and promote code quality, knowledge sharing, secure coding, and effective unit testing.
- Use AWS services and cloud or infrastructure technologies to support digital solutions.
- Analyze and resolve complex technical problems and advise stakeholders within the area of expertise.
- Manage risk, strengthen controls, and follow relevant policies, regulations, and codes of conduct.
- Contribute to technology communities, continuous improvement, and the adoption of new policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of UI technologies including HTML, JSP, JavaScript, and React.js.
- Strong knowledge of GitLab, SonarQube, Jenkins, Java, Maven, Gradle, and Nexus.
- Strong knowledge of web services, REST, and microservices.
- Strong knowledge of cloud or infrastructure products and AWS services including CloudFormation, monitoring, Lambda, EC2, IAM, and DynamoDB.
- Practical knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design, Core Java, JPA or Hibernate, Spring, unit testing, mocking frameworks, and REST APIs.
- Knowledge of Spring technologies including Spring Boot and Micronaut.
- Basic understanding of Jenkins, GitLab, Groovy, and shell scripting.
- In-depth technical knowledge, analytical and problem-solving ability, and experience applying technical expertise to complex problems.
- Ability to collaborate across functions, communicate complex or sensitive information, and influence technical decisions.
