Responsibilities
- Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient full-stack software applications and systems across backend and frontend components.
- Implement product features and tasks according to system designs supporting scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Review code, provide technical feedback, and uphold coding, observability, testing, and maintainability standards.
- Build testable software, define and execute tests, and automate testing using tools such as JUnit and Selenium.
- Triage customer-reported issues and defects, debug problems, and deliver timely resolutions.
- Maintain service health and quality by monitoring indicators and telemetry, escalating issues, conducting root cause analysis, and preventing recurrence.
- Own software delivery across requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and production maintenance in a DevOps model.
- Use generative AI tools and prompting techniques to improve development productivity and select appropriate model capabilities.
- Document features, enhancements, fixes, and training materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2–4 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C# and .NET.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases for data operations and reporting.
- Experience with software development practices and design patterns.
- Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and JIRA.
- Basic understanding of cloud technologies and DevOps principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with experience building and shipping software products and services.
- Hands-on prompting experience with generative AI coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, Devin, or GitHub Copilot.
- Preferred: experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP; payments or payroll workforce software; and test automation frameworks and tools.
