Base Salary
$135k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, own, and improve pipelines for collecting, standardizing, validating, and organizing manufacturing and test data.
- Integrate data from internal labs, manufacturing partners, and other internal and external sources.
- Maintain and improve automation for hardware validation and production testing, including build, test, and release workflows.
- Operate failure-analysis tools that process results, classify failures, and route issues to the appropriate teams.
- Operate Linux-based, containerized, and cloud-hosted services, including storage, scheduled jobs, and deployment automation.
- Build monitoring, alerting, dashboards, runbooks, telemetry, logging, and internal diagnostic tools.
- Support new products, test flows, data sources, and manufacturing sites with minimal manual effort.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, test, IT, vendors, laboratories, and manufacturing partners to resolve system and data issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience building and operating backend systems, data systems, developer infrastructure, or internal platforms.
- Strong Python skills for production services, scripts, libraries, or automation tools.
- Experience with large-scale data processing, structured data pipelines, changing data formats, data quality, and production data collection.
- Experience with relational, analytical, or streaming data systems.
- Experience with Git-based workflows, Linux environments, CI/CD systems, and containerized or cloud-based services.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools and balancing operational work with longer-term engineering improvements.
- Preferred: MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- Preferred: experience with semiconductors, hardware or manufacturing test, yield analysis, manufacturing diagnostics, public cloud services, secure external data exchange, infrastructure automation, configuration management, collaboration or issue-tracking integrations, and external engineering partners.
Benefits
- Salary range is $135,000 to $170,000 depending on experience, level, and business need.
- May be eligible for discretionary bonus, incentives, and benefits.
