Senior Software Engineer - Infrastructure and Tools

Base Salary
$166k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and extend components of the core Databricks infrastructure
- Architect multi-cloud systems and abstractions for running Databricks products on cloud providers
- Improve software development workflows for engineering and operational efficiency
- Analyze build and test logs and metrics using the Databricks data and AI platform
- Develop automated build, test, and release infrastructure
- Establish engineering standards for style and code checking, test harnesses, and release packaging
Requirements
- BS or higher in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of experience writing production code in Java, Scala, Go, C++, or Python
- Experience architecting, developing, and deploying large-scale distributed systems
- Experience with cloud APIs and public or advanced private cloud environments
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform
- Ability to build highly scalable and reliable infrastructure
