Base Salary
$150k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical expert and trusted advisor during post-sales engagements with mortgage customers.
- Embed with customer teams to understand workflows and demonstrate how Ocrolus improves mortgage-origination efficiency.
- Review and consult on technical solutions, APIs, microservices, data pipelines, and integrations.
- Build and support production technical solutions and integrations using Ocrolus, Encompass, and other mortgage POS/LOS platforms.
- Run proof-of-concept and proof-of-value engagements to demonstrate return on investment quickly.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues in live customer environments.
- Partner with Account Management and Product teams to deliver customer value and influence the product roadmap.
- Travel approximately 30–50% to customer sites and industry events.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, or technical consulting.
- At least 3 years of experience with mortgage or lending workflows.
- Strong understanding and experience with Encompass.
- Strong consultative sales and account management approach, including mapping technology to business challenges and leading change management conversations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience engaging senior mortgage executives.
- Backend experience with Python, APIs, Encompass Developer Connect, and SQL.
- Frontend experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and the ICE Secure Scripting Framework for Encompass custom forms and workflow logic.
- Familiarity with mortgage LOS/POS platforms including Encompass, Blend, SimpleNexus, and Floify.
- Experience with Git and cloud basics such as AWS or Azure.
- Preferred experience with SaaS integrations or loan origination systems, additional mortgage LOS/POS platforms, and AI/ML or generative AI.
