Responsibilities
- Build, deploy, and maintain machine learning models that serve users reliably in production.
- Design architectures for continuously gathering new training data.
- Build interfaces that deliver machine learning results to end users.
- Collaborate with client technology and business teams to identify suitable technologies and data needs.
- Contribute to software development tasks including debugging, design, and architecture.
- Deliver project work according to client and team needs.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience continuously developing and deploying machine learning models.
- Typically 3+ years of accumulated machine learning competencies, although no hard experience limit is specified.
- Experience with common machine learning tools, libraries, and platforms.
- Good understanding of common machine learning techniques.
- Understanding of infrastructure-as-code practices, including Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
- Cloud development experience with platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong programming foundation with Python required; Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, and C++ are examples of additional languages.
- Experience working with data using SQL.
- Strong software engineering foundation and attention to avoiding legacy code.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with clients to determine data needs.
- Fluency in English and Finnish is preferred.
