Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable microservices using Python and Golang.
- Deploy, monitor, and manage applications in AWS and Azure environments.
- Implement and optimize Kubernetes-based containerized workloads.
- Automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform and Docker.
- Develop unit, component, and contract tests.
- Work with message-driven architectures and integrate messaging systems.
- Apply secure development practices using Snyk and Dependabot.
- Improve observability with monitoring tools such as Grafana.
- Use AI coding assistants for code generation, refactoring, code review, and testing.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve system performance, security, and scalability.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python and skill with Golang.
- Extensive experience with AWS services and experience with Azure services.
- Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Experience with unit, component, and contract testing.
- Experience with message-driven architectures.
- Experience with observability tools such as Grafana is desired.
- Knowledge of NATS is desired.
- Familiarity with Snyk and Dependabot is desired.
- Practical experience using GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or Windsurf is desired.
