Responsibilities
- Support the product and technology team across new and existing systems.
- Design and develop pragmatic, complete, and maintainable software solutions.
- Improve software quality, documentation, productivity, and team processes.
- Contribute to or lead software analysis, design, and specification tasks.
- Provide planning estimates and identify technical dependencies, resource requirements, and risks.
- Participate in agile planning and design sessions and contribute to continuous delivery practices.
- Provide proactive technical support to customers and clients when required.
- Participate in code peer reviews and maintain documentation reflecting system functionality and implementation.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of relevant work experience.
- Extensive experience developing large-scale enterprise software with global reach.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages, with deep knowledge of several listed technologies including Node.js, Rust, TypeScript, GraphQL, Kotlin, Go, and Python.
- Experience with relational and document databases including MongoDB, DynamoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience designing and building RESTful API services and working with event-driven frameworks such as Kafka.
- Strong understanding and practical application of SOLID principles and design patterns.
- Experience with test-driven development, unit testing, integration testing, and continuous integration and deployment.
- Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks such as Serenity, Cucumber, Jest, Supertest, Playwright, and Detox.
- Working knowledge of cloud deployment technologies, including AWS and Terraform.
- Experience working across distributed development organizations in a global environment.
- Experience with native mobile app development, Java, and Spring Boot is a plus.
- Experience with PCI-compliant software products is desirable.
- Strong communication, initiative, independence, adaptability, problem-solving, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
