Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated test systems spanning embedded, electrical, and software interfaces.
- Develop Python-based test frameworks and command-line tools for test execution, log collection, and pass/fail reporting.
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD workflows to detect regressions automatically.
- Bring up and validate new hardware and firmware builds across releases.
- Collaborate with Systems Integration, Firmware, and Software teams on test coverage, interface contracts, and validation flows.
- Diagnose test failures ranging from hardware faults to software regressions.
- Manage data logging, result visualization, and traceability for automated test runs.
- Develop scalable, reusable test frameworks and APIs for future platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in test automation or embedded systems validation.
- Strong understanding of firmware-hardware interaction, including I2C, SPI, CAN, UART, ADC, GPIO, and Ethernet.
- Proficiency in Python for test automation, scripting, and data processing.
- Experience with Linux-based development and command-line tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or TeamCity.
- Preferred experience with Pytest, Robot Framework, or custom automation frameworks.
- Preferred exposure to hardware-in-the-loop environments or simulation systems.
- Preferred familiarity with board-level validation, power sequencing, and sensor testing.
- Preferred background in robotics, automotive, aerospace, or other complex mechatronic systems.
- Preferred proficiency with laboratory instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and DAQs.
