Responsibilities
- Design and execute test strategies across native mobile, Windows desktop, web, and hybrid environments.
- Create test plans, automated scripts, risk assessments, and detailed bug reports.
- Automate product features and expand regression coverage across web and mobile platforms.
- Perform functional, compatibility, concurrency, boundary, negative, sanity, and API testing.
- Validate software on real devices, simulators, emulators, device farms, and cloud-based device platforms.
- Analyze logs and debug backend issues using Unix/Linux command-line environments and SQL.
- Mentor junior Quality Engineers on QA methodologies, automation design, and debugging.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and cross-functional partners through fast release cycles.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience in software quality engineering, software development, or test automation.
- Strong expertise in QA methodologies, automated testing frameworks, and short-cycle software releases.
- Hands-on experience maintaining automated test suites and testing mobile applications across iOS and Android.
- Experience with Windows application testing, cross-browser testing, and compatibility validation across operating systems, resolutions, and hardware configurations.
- Experience managing device farms, physical device labs, or cloud-based device platforms.
- Strong Unix/Linux command-line skills for log analysis and backend debugging.
- Proficiency with SQL for database querying and data validation.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred experience with Cucumber, Selenium, TestNG, Appium, XCUITest, Espresso, WinAppDriver, Playwright, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, Perfecto, Jira, Confluence, AI testing tools, prompt engineering, LLM output evaluation, SaaS delivery models, CI/CD pipelines, and life sciences domains.
