Responsibilities
- Create testing documentation including test plans, test cases/scripts, bug reports, and quality and risk assessments.
- Perform functional, automation, regression, and scheduled QA testing and verify outcomes.
- Write and automate test cases covering sanity, boundary, negative, compatibility, and concurrency scenarios.
- Collaborate with the automation group to improve regression coverage.
- Work with software engineers, product managers, and QA testers in an Agile team environment.
- Develop deep product expertise and mentor junior software quality analysts in QA methodologies and skills.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant work experience, including software development and/or software test automation.
- Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and approaches including black-box and automated testing.
- Experience writing and automating test cases in software environments with short release cycles.
- Working knowledge of SQL database queries.
- Strong Unix/Linux command-line expertise for log analysis.
- Strong experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience coding in Java and/or mobile languages.
