Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java automation frameworks.
- Build and execute Playwright-based automated test suites for UI, API, and backend validation.
- Lead end-to-end testing, including test planning, execution, functional validation, defect management, and delivery ownership.
- Implement test data management and automation best practices to improve testing efficiency, reliability, and quality.
- Collaborate with development, business, and cross-functional teams and provide QA metrics, status reports, and executive-level quality updates.
- Independently lead testing activities and drive deliverables through successful completion.
Requirements
- At least six years of experience in software testing and test automation.
- Strong proficiency in Java, including Streams, Lambdas, Collections, and modern design patterns.
- Hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based automation frameworks.
- Strong experience using Playwright for UI automation, API testing, and backend validation.
- Strong manual testing experience covering test design, execution, functional validation, and defect lifecycle management.
- Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines, plus test data management and automation best practices.
- Ability to lead testing activities independently and manage stakeholder collaboration and communication.
- Insurance and/or Wealth Management domain knowledge is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Kafka, MongoDB, and AWS S3 is preferred.
- Experience with Agile or Scrum delivery environments and enterprise-scale testing programs is preferred.
