Responsibilities
- Develop new automated test cases.
- Maintain and extend existing automated test suites.
- Execute automated tests and analyze test failures.
- Review test source code and report bugs.
- Collaborate with developers to test bug fixes and increase automated coverage.
- Write documentation and reports for automated tests.
- Contribute programs and procedures that improve testing efficiency.
- Learn and apply broadcast industry standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with QA team members in India and Canada.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a QA Engineer.
- Strong Python programming skills and proven test automation experience.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Linux systems administration experience, with system administrator-level skills considered a plus.
- Experience with Windows and Linux, including Ubuntu.
- Experience with bash coding.
- Familiarity with software testing processes, including ISTQB Foundation or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with AWS.
- Willingness to learn a large system involving hardware and software interactions.
- Strong written English, verbal communication, time management, and organizational skills.
