Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain Java and Spring Boot APIs and system integrations.
- Translate well-defined business and technical requirements into reliable software solutions.
- Support the credit decisioning platform by troubleshooting incidents and resolving technical issues.
- Contribute to platform upgrades, patching, vulnerability remediation, and overall system health.
- Create and maintain automated tests, technical documentation, and operational support information.
Requirements
- Practical software engineering experience, ideally with enterprise applications or platforms.
- Experience developing and maintaining Java and Spring Boot applications or APIs.
- Understanding of REST APIs, system integrations, and common API security concepts.
- Experience supporting applications through development, testing, and production.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to incident resolution.
- Understanding of application lifecycle activities including patching, upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and platform maintenance.
- Some experience with AWS cloud services, data pipelines, or workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow.
- Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins, Spinnaker, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience writing unit or automated tests using tools such as JUnit or Rest Assured.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to explain technical information clearly.
