Base Salary
$140k - $290k/yr
Responsibilities
- Optimize Postgres and the service layer for platform performance and scale.
- Own and extend backend services supporting matching, recruiter workflows, payments, and marketplace operations.
- Build and maintain integrations with systems used by recruiters and hiring managers.
- Run infrastructure and deployment pipelines, improve observability, harden deployments, and improve developer workflows.
- Strengthen authentication, access control, and data protection across the platform.
- Build internal AI tools and infrastructure for employee workflows.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in backend systems, databases, and production infrastructure.
- Ability to make pragmatic engineering decisions based on impact rather than novelty.
- Operational mindset with attention to observability, reliability, and on-call operations.
- Strong ownership and initiative in identifying and solving system problems.
