Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using Angular, TypeScript, Python, HTML, and CSS.
  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful Web APIs and backend services using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and related frameworks.
  • Translate product requirements into scoped engineering efforts and technical specifications in collaboration with product managers, designers, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior development staff through active listening and pair programming.
  • Ensure application performance, quality, responsiveness, test coverage, and validation of critical workflows.
  • Define and follow software quality, unit testing, API testing, code coverage, and secure development practices.
  • Support vulnerability scanning with Snyk and Qualys, remediate identified risks, address penetration test findings, and comply with application security standards.
  • Use and evaluate AI-assisted development tools responsibly for coding, debugging, documentation, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Stay current with industry trends and continuously improve engineering processes and practices.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of professional software development experience with hands-on experience in C#, C++, Angular, .NET, and Web API development.
  • Strong Angular experience, preferably Angular 16 or higher, including component-based design, routing, services, RxJS, state management, forms, and backend API integration.
  • Proven experience developing RESTful Web APIs and backend services with C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework or equivalent ORM frameworks, and secure API design principles.
  • Knowledge of C#, C++, Angular, .NET, and Web API development best practices, design patterns, SOLID principles, unit testing, API testing, code reviews, and deployment strategies.
  • Familiarity with relational database technologies, SQL, data access patterns, and ORM frameworks used with .NET applications.
  • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Preferred experience with C++ object-oriented programming, memory management, debugging, performance optimization, and integration with existing systems or services.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar platforms.
  • Strong prompt engineering skills for writing contextual prompts, validating AI-generated outputs, and applying engineering judgment before using AI-assisted code in production.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
