Responsibilities
- Plan and design SRE toolsets and automation.
- Participate in architecture and security reviews for SRE projects.
- Evangelize cloud technologies and CI/CD solutions.
- Develop tools and processes for secure development practices.
- Collaborate with feature development teams for application deployment.
- Deploy and configure applications and containers in Tomcat and Kubernetes.
- Design and implement automation for deployment tasks.
- Manage cloud infrastructure needs and costs.
- Troubleshoot failed builds and deployments.
- Facilitate communication regarding environment states and availability.
- Manage software configuration and release activities using GitHub and Jenkins.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support services 24/7.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience with JAVA, Groovy, Python, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages, preferably Python and Groovy.
- Experience with build tools like Gradle, Maven, and NPM.
- Experience supporting production systems, including Linux administration.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform.
- Knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, ECS, and EKS.
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automation methodologies, specifically Jenkins.
- Excellent operational knowledge of Linux operating systems.
- Administration skills with developer tools like Bitbucket and Artifactory.
