Base Salary
$143k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support security practices throughout the software development process.
- Perform offensive penetration testing on various applications and services.
- Support security tools and automation for vulnerability assessments.
- Conduct threat modeling and security reviews for software releases.
- Manage the lifecycle of identified vulnerabilities and prioritize remediation.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to meet security requirements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Application Security engineering.
- Demonstrated expertise in Application Security engineering with programming skills.
- Experience with security controls in CI/CD pipelines and source control systems.
- Experience with penetration testing and vulnerability scanning.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
- Strong understanding of security best practices for cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with cloud security such as AWS or GCP.
- Experience mentoring junior security engineers.
