Base Salary
$175k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work with trading tools supporting Cumberland and FICC options trading desks.
- Embed with trading desks to understand problem spaces, extract domain models, and build ergonomic, performant, and extensible solutions.
- Own products from prototype through stable production.
- Build, maintain, and extend the central trading platform across greenfield and legacy systems.
- Develop software using C++, Python, and TypeScript.
- Provide on-call support as needed.
Requirements
- Up to 7 years of experience using C++ and Python, with the ability to work comfortably across multiple programming languages.
- Track record of working directly with end customers to scope and deliver production systems in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
- Ability to solve complex problems, develop intuitive understanding, identify risks early, and minimize complexity.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders and engineers.
- Experience in financial markets, especially delta-one store-of-value and/or FICC options trading.
- Experience with Linux-based, concurrent, high-throughput, low-latency software systems.
- Functional programming experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
