Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex backend systems.
- Build and maintain secure, scalable integrations with third-party services and external APIs.
- Contribute to AI initiatives, including integrating AI services and supporting data-driven features.
- Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making.
- Solve complex problems independently and implement high-quality, reliable features.
- Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional remote teams.
- Manage AWS infrastructure and services while following DevOps practices.
- Support code quality, CI/CD, and deployment processes.
- Use Docker and containerization tools to streamline development and deployment.
- Monitor and analyze system performance with tools such as Datadog.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of software development experience, including at least 4 years focused on backend development.
- Strong expertise in multiple programming languages, including Java, Node.js, C++, and TypeScript.
- Strong problem-solving skills, independence, and a high level of ownership.
- Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with remote teams.
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices and AWS services for deployment, monitoring, and scaling.
- Extensive experience with Docker and containerization tools.
- Familiarity with logging and analytics tools such as Datadog.
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript.
- Experience contributing to full-stack solutions is advantageous.
- Experience in the trading or financial services industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks and their interaction with backend systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools is preferred.
