Base Salary

$160k - $200k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Integrate new perception models and algorithms into existing applications.
  • Support research teams working on vehicle motion planning and control.
  • Adapt the data collection platform for new sensors and ML data requirements.
  • Develop and maintain sensor, data collection, demo, and evaluation-kit infrastructure.
  • Establish software standards, testing practices, deployment processes, and unified software architecture across platforms.
  • Develop platform control applications, integrate inference pipelines and UI features, and support scalable deployment of released SDKs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Proficiency with C++ and Python.
  • Experience leading features from design through production.
  • Ability to break down complex problems into well-defined technical solutions.
  • Ability to work from the Berkeley, California office at least Tuesday through Thursday.
  • Preferred experience with automotive sensors such as radar, lidar, cameras, or CANbus.
  • Preferred experience with JavaScript, UI development, and Linux.
  • Experience succeeding in ambiguous or evolving roles in a fast-paced environment is a bonus.
