Responsibilities
- Act as a technical expert on one or more DTCC applications.
- Work with business system analysts to ensure designs satisfy functional requirements.
- Partner with infrastructure teams to identify and deploy optimal hosting environments.
- Tune application performance and research technical solutions aligned with DTCC standards.
- Design, develop, deploy, test, troubleshoot, and support software applications.
- Develop scalable and resilient solutions using Java, microservices, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud environments.
- Create unit test cases and support functional testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
- Work with peers to improve engineering practices and organize work while leading others.
- Align risk and control processes with daily responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or master’s degree in computer science.
- At least 6 years of experience in application development and system analysis.
- Hands-on Java application development experience, including Java Core, Java EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Cloud.
- Experience with microservices and layered SOA/MVC architecture in on-premises and AWS cloud environments.
- Expertise deploying scalable, resilient applications in Kubernetes and Docker containers.
- Experience with Angular or equivalent UI/UX technologies.
- Experience with Git, Bitbucket, Maven, Ant, Jenkins, Sonar, and CI/CD processes.
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, JSON, REST, and SOAP.
- Experience with Jasmine/Karma, JUnit, Selenium, Cucumber, and Mockito.
- Experience with MQ, Solace, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, and database performance tuning.
- Strong problem-solving, flexibility, creative thinking, organizational, and leadership skills.
