Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, develop, and deliver software solutions and API services.
- Translate product requirements into component designs, tasks, estimates, and extensible low-level designs.
- Write modular, readable, scalable, and performant code using appropriate data structures, tools, and technologies.
- Research frameworks and technologies, build prototypes and proof-of-concepts, and participate in code reviews.
- Support APIs through production and maintain technology road maps.
- Own full software development lifecycle activities, including requirements, use cases, test strategy, performance benchmarking, release and deployment plans, contingency planning, and estimates.
- Mentor and coach junior team members while collaborating with cross-functional and geographically distributed stakeholders.
- Evaluate vendor solutions, technologies, methodologies, and frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer-related studies, such as BE or BTech.
- 7–10 years of work experience.
- Hands-on experience building complex, highly scalable, and high-performing systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Security, Spring Boot, and RESTful web services.
- Experience integrating web services and exposure to cloud-ready applications and microservices.
- Exposure to Test Driven Development, Continuous Delivery, and Integration.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, initiative, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, under pressure, and as part of a matrix-based, diverse, geographically distributed team.
