Base Salary
$200k - $290k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop agentic engineering reasoning using structured representation, formal methods, and related approaches to solve real engineering design problems.
- Build, improve, and maintain the agentic harness and its tool integrations.
- Regularly run evaluations and tests to assess system quality.
- Analyze production traces, identify failure modes, and investigate customer-reported bugs.
- Collaborate with research scientists to identify model capability gaps, develop custom models, and transition them into the core product.
- Monitor new agentic frameworks and capabilities and bring promising ideas into production.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience transitioning AI research prototypes into delivered products.
- Deep learning experience and a strong fundamental understanding of machine learning, large language models, and agentic harnesses.
- Fluency in Python and common agentic frameworks such as LangChain.
- Experience building physical systems in areas such as aerospace, mechanical engineering, or robotics.
- A track record of shipping ambitious or extraordinary products, professionally or independently.
- Strong curiosity and ability to move between research and engineering.
