Responsibilities

  • Develop, unit test, and maintain backend services using Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot.
  • Design and implement scalable, event-driven architectures.
  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs aligned with OpenAPI standards.
  • Collaborate with developers, functional analysts, QA specialists, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and optimize performance and responsiveness.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code and participate in code reviews.
  • Support unit testing and continuous integration pipelines.
  • Use Git for version control and team collaboration.
  • Contribute to observability using logs, metrics, tracing, and potentially OpenTelemetry.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

  • Senior-level experience developing backend services and RESTful APIs with Java or Kotlin.
  • Strong foundation in software engineering principles, including Clean Code, SOLID, and basic Domain-Driven Design.
  • Familiarity with event-driven systems; Kafka experience is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency with Git and test-driven development.
  • Knowledge of or interest in observability practices such as logs, metrics, and tracing.
  • Experience with Quarkus or similar frameworks is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to submit a CV in English.
