Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy cloud-based SaaS applications.
- Contribute to application modernization, refactoring, and maintenance of existing applications.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, logging, and monitoring to improve development efficiency and system reliability.
- Follow secure coding and access control practices to support SOC2 compliance.
- Participate in on-call rotations and help resolve production incidents with senior engineering support.
- Support containerization with Docker and deployments to AWS.
- Participate in code reviews focused on performance, reliability, security, and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to deliver features from concept through deployment and support.
- Create and maintain technical and end-user documentation.
- Improve application performance and scalability through testing and optimization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Five years of software engineering experience, preferably in SaaS or web application development.
- Proficiency in one or more of C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
- Familiarity with React or a similar frontend framework and .NET, Node.js, or equivalent backend development.
- Understanding of cloud platforms, Docker, and DevOps practices including CI/CD, Git, and monitoring.
- Experience building applications on AWS cloud infrastructure is preferred.
- Exposure to SOC2 or other compliance frameworks is a plus.
- Experience with DevExpress is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, collaboration, communication, and clean-code skills.
