Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Partner with business teams to map workflows, identify friction, define AI enablement goals, and establish success metrics.
- Design, build, and operate AI-powered workflows, agents, automations, tools, and production systems.
- Integrate AI with business systems using APIs, MCP servers, iPaaS tools, webhooks, and custom code.
- Create reusable AI patterns, skills, templates, deployment paths, documentation, and self-service tools.
- Identify, implement, and govern AI platform capabilities including identity and access, data permissions, logging, evaluation, human review, and spend controls.
- Evaluate AI vendors and tooling, run trials, and make build-versus-buy recommendations based on cost and risk.
- Develop AI usage and data-handling standards with Security, G&A, and Engineering.
- Set up evaluations and monitoring, track AI adoption and spend, and report outcomes to IT leadership.
- Increase company-wide AI fluency through office hours, workshops, playbooks, training, and coaching.
- Ensure agents use invoking users’ permissions and that costs are attributed to the appropriate teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a technical role such as software engineering, IT or systems engineering, solutions or sales engineering, automation, or internal tools.
- Hands-on coding ability with Python, TypeScript, or similar, plus solid SQL and experience with REST APIs and webhooks.
- Deep personal use of coding agents, LLM APIs, MCP, agent skills or custom GPTs, and retrieval patterns.
- Demonstrated experience building tools, automations, or AI workflows that materially changed how a team works.
- Working knowledge of SSO, SCIM, OAuth scopes, service accounts, least privilege, and data permissions in AI tools.
- Ability to define quality standards, test outputs, and own results.
- Ability to facilitate workshops and training and explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong business judgment, relationship-building skills, clear writing, teaching ability, and comfort with ambiguity.
- Ability to use and evaluate Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, and different AI models and prompting approaches.
- Preferred: forward deployed, solutions engineering, consulting, iPaaS or workflow-tool experience, enterprise AI platform experience, AI governance or SOC 2 familiarity, data warehouse/pipeline/retrieval experience, cloud or SaaS cost-management experience, and change-management or internal training experience.
