Base Salary
$120k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product understanding and market readiness.
- Brainstorm and evaluate new features and solutions for product enhancement.
- Conduct tests and simulations to validate ideas and designs.
- Design firmware for home energy product components, including control algorithms and communication protocols.
- Optimize manufacturing processes by designing automation support functionality.
Requirements
- Degree in a computer-engineering related field or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience delivering firmware for new products as part of a team.
- Experience with communication protocols such as CAN and Protocol Buffers.
- Familiarity with Espressif ESP-IDF product development.
- Knowledge of embedded Ethernet stacks, TCP/IP, and HTTPS.
- Experience with wireless communication technologies like WiFi and Bluetooth.
- Proficiency in C and familiarity with cmake and Python.
- Working knowledge of lab test equipment like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
