Base Salary
$108k - $149k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop a working understanding of the science domain to identify ML, AI, and software opportunities.
- Execute a comprehensive ML, AI, and software integration strategy with measurable objectives.
- Design, develop, deploy, and integrate ML, AI, and software tools to optimize R&D operations.
- Promote AI fluency and data-driven decision-making through mentorship and tool deployment.
Requirements
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in ML/AI software development, preferably in biotech.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python for scalable software solutions.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Strong understanding of data structures, software architecture, and algorithmic optimization.
- Familiarity with cloud computing and MLOps deployment environments.
- Experience developing and maintaining APIs and automated data pipelines.
- Knowledge of bioinformatics tools and computational biology data formats.
- Proven track record of leading interdisciplinary projects.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
