Responsibilities
- Build and maintain core security products like Remote Access Management and Secrets Management.
- Collaborate with various teams to embed secure design practices into product development.
- Lead the technical direction and roadmap for assigned security areas.
- Ensure high Operational Excellence to minimize downtime.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents promptly.
- Manage the lifecycle of security product feature requests from design to implementation.
- Drive improvements to engineering standards and leverage advancements in technology.
- Mentor and coach early-career engineers on best practices.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering focused on information security or infrastructure.
- Proven track record of enhancing a company's infrastructure security posture.
- Broad technical experience in large production environments.
- Proficient in distributed systems and programming languages like Java, Scala, Kotlin, Golang, or Python.
- Strong experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
- Expertise in cloud infrastructure management, particularly in AWS.
- Ability to solve complex systemic issues creatively.
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication skills for reviewing design documents.
