Base Salary
$190k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with design and engineering to architect and ship customer-facing functionality from zero to one
- Build full-lifecycle product features across the stack
- Solve complex technical challenges such as virtualized rendering and content management systems
- Improve application performance through profiling
- Implement scalable solutions for a growing user base
- Contribute to a smooth user experience and bridge the gap between working code and a great product
- Help shape product direction and engineering approaches
Requirements
- 4+ years of software development experience
- Senior- or staff-level technical depth in either frontend or backend engineering
- Frontend candidates should have deep knowledge of React, Next.js, TypeScript, the Virtual DOM, state management, and CSS architecture
- Backend candidates should have strong systems design, API architecture, database optimization, and scalable infrastructure skills
- Product intuition and an interest in building user-facing products
- Willingness to work outside a primary technical specialty to complete features
- Ability to define solutions, take ownership, and operate with high agency
