Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Architect and lead mission-critical agentic systems using LLMs to automate workflows and improve user experiences at enterprise scale.
- Own the multi-year strategy and final technical escalation point for LLM integration across the company’s software ecosystem.
- Lead the enterprise cognitive automation roadmap for information extraction, summarization, question answering, and related capabilities.
- Establish company-wide architectural patterns, engineering standards, and technical frameworks for scalable distributed machine learning solutions.
- Research emerging machine learning, AI agent, and distributed systems trends and translate findings into organizational technical strategy.
- Align machine learning engineers, product teams, executives, and engineering leaders on high-impact technical decisions.
- Mentor engineers across levels, own hiring strategy, and serve as the final technical bar-raiser for senior and staff-level hires.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, master's, or Ph.D. in computer science, machine learning, or a related field.
- 15+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with deep expertise designing and building large-scale distributed systems.
- Extensive hands-on experience architecting and deploying complex production agentic applications leveraging LLMs at enterprise scale.
- Expertise in Golang is strongly preferred, with deep proficiency in Python or similar languages.
- Expert-level knowledge of cloud and container frameworks such as AWS and Kubernetes.
- Proven experience architecting scalable, fault-tolerant, observable distributed systems and operating mission-critical backend software in production.
- Authoritative understanding of machine learning principles, algorithms, evaluation metrics, distributed systems, and software engineering best practices.
- Demonstrated company-wide technical impact, executive-level communication and influence, consensus building, and technical leadership.
- Passion for machine learning and natural language processing, including translating advanced research into durable business impact.
