Base Salary
$196k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build foundational services, APIs, and abstractions that enable enterprise-grade software development across Pave.
- Own critical services including user authentication and authorization.
- Develop foundational data infrastructure and models for Pave’s compensation intelligence platform.
- Design generalized platform solutions that address cross-product challenges.
- Lead large, complex technical initiatives across the organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience building data-intensive applications.
- Experience with modern web technologies such as TypeScript and Node.js.
- Strong product intuition and ability to design generalized platform solutions for cross-product challenges.
- Hands-on experience with data infrastructure, data pipelines or ETLs, and data modeling.
- ML/AI platform experience is a plus.
- Experience leading large technical projects involving ambiguity and numerous stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize maintainable, scalable, thoughtful solutions in a fast-paced environment.
