Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve frontend experiences for email campaign creation and analysis.
- Design and scale backend systems for high-volume email sending.
- Own deliverability-adjacent systems like bounce classification and reputation monitoring.
- Partner with the deliverability team to create automated tooling.
- Instrument and monitor the health of the email channel.
- Own problems end to end from architecture to deployment.
- Share knowledge through videos, writing, and mentorship.
- Utilize AI agents for multi-file changes.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building scalable, distributed systems in Go or similar languages.
- Experience with product-facing frontend features in React or similar frameworks.
- Comfortable working in cloud-native environments like AWS or GCP.
- Familiarity with relational databases, primarily MySQL.
- Understanding of high-volume email sending concepts.
- Knowledge of email authentication standards like SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
- Ability to reason about sender reputation and ISP behavior at scale.
- Experience with observability tooling and operating production systems.
- Experience building or consuming APIs for high-throughput workloads.
- A bias for action and ownership of technical decisions.
