Responsibilities
- Automate and operate AWS platform infrastructure using Terraform Enterprise, Ansible, Harness, Kubernetes, operators, CRDs, cluster lifecycle management, and GitOps practices.
- Build and maintain continuous delivery pipelines and reliable deployments across PRE, SBX, and PRD environments.
- Create self-service, Kubernetes-native provisioning for storage, compute, databases, and messaging resources.
- Apply AIOps practices including intelligent alerting, anomaly detection, AI-assisted incident triage, and automated remediation.
- Own and improve NetApp, S3, and EBS storage platforms, including AWS storage architecture, reliability, performance, and disaster recovery readiness.
- Provide L2 support for platform automation, pipelines, storage infrastructure, and storage-related incidents.
- Integrate storage with Kubernetes workloads and backup solutions, and support RPO/RTO compliance and disaster recovery testing.
- Maintain production runbooks, documentation, architecture decisions, and team knowledge sharing.
- Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, post-mortems, platform migrations, and FinOps cost optimization.
- Administer and improve Active Directory and DNS environments with attention to performance and security compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on DevOps experience building and operating a SaaS platform on AWS.
- At least 3 years of Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform in AWS environments.
- At least 2 years of platform engineering experience contributing to automation and self-service ecosystems.
- Solid Kubernetes knowledge and experience with operators, CRDs, cluster lifecycle management, persistent volumes, storage classes, and CSI drivers.
- Strong knowledge of NetApp ONTAP administration, provisioning, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with AWS storage services including S3, EBS, EFS, and FSx.
- Experience providing L2 support for automation systems or storage infrastructure.
- Exposure to AIOps practices such as intelligent alerting, anomaly detection, and AI-assisted automation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and GitOps workflows, monitoring and observability tools, and strong scripting or development skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
- Preferred experience includes Kubernetes operators or controllers with controller-runtime or kubebuilder, Cilium or equivalent eBPF-based CNI, self-service infrastructure provisioning, AWS Backup or Cohesity, disaster recovery, FinOps, Vault, and NetApp certifications such as NCDA or NCIE.
