Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering projects using TypeScript/JavaScript and/or Rust.
  • Architect and ship complete intelligent systems from initial prototype through production.
  • Lead agentic SDLC automation initiatives in partnership with engineering, QA, and business stakeholders.
  • Define engineering standards for agent-assisted and conventional development, including evaluations, guardrails, and deployment patterns.
  • Evaluate emerging tools and techniques, mentor developers, and identify opportunities to improve engineering processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 8+ years of senior software engineering experience shipping and supporting production systems at scale.
  • Experience with LLMs, vector databases, embeddings, agent frameworks, and fine-tuning.
  • Experience taking GenAI systems to production, including agent authoring, prompt orchestration, and evaluation frameworks operating against real traffic.
  • Ability to turn ambiguous cross-functional problems into concrete plans and delivered systems.
  • Strong product judgment and ability to communicate trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Preferred: knowledge base or knowledge graph experience and experience applying AI to requirements engineering, code generation, test automation, or developer productivity.
  • Preferred: observability experience with OpenTelemetry or MLflow and experience tuning LLMs for latency and cost.
  • Preferred: open-source work in AI/ML, graph, or developer-tooling domains; financial services or fintech background; familiarity with equity and commodity derivatives; and team leadership or engineering management experience.
